Upon your arrival in Cairo, Egypt's bustling capital, you will be warmly welcomed at the airport by your tour representative. After completing the necessary formalities, you'll be transferred to your hotel in the city.
As you settle into your accommodations, take some time to relax and refresh after your journey from Indonesia.
Start your day with a visit to one of the world's most iconic landmarks, the Giza Pyramids. Marvel at the awe-inspiring Great Pyramid of Giza, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and explore the Great Sphinx, a colossal statue with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh.
Afterward, delve into the rich religious and cultural heritage of Cairo with a tour of Islamic and Coptic Cairo. Visit the historic Citadel of Saladin, home to the impressive Alabaster Mosque, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the city. Continue your exploration with a visit to the Hanging Church and the Coptic Museum, which showcase the deep-rooted Christian history of Egypt.
Stroll through the vibrant Khan El Khalili bazaar, a bustling marketplace where you can browse for unique souvenirs and experience the lively atmosphere of traditional Cairo. This day offers a comprehensive glimpse into the ancient and religious wonders that make Cairo a fascinating destination.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check out and prepare to meet the accredited tour guide from Cairo Top Tours. You will then travel in a modern air-conditioned vehicle to the Bahariya Oasis, a journey of approximately four hours from Cairo.
Upon arrival, your first stop will be the Valley of the Golden Mummies, discovered by chance when a donkey carriage got stuck in a hole, leading to the uncovering of thousands of gold-covered mummies from the Roman era in Egypt. Next, you'll visit the Tombs of the Nobles, who ruled the oasis during the Pharaonic period, and the Temple of Alexander the Great, discovered by Egyptian archaeologists, which has suffered some damage over time due to natural circumstances.
You will also see the Temple Of Ain El Muftella, once considered the city center in the ancient city of Al Qasr. After a pleasant lunch at the oasis, you will check into your hotel and spend the afternoon at leisure, with the option to relax in the hot spring's mineral-rich waters. Before sunset, you'll take a walk through the oasis to meet the local people and learn about their unique traditions and customs.
The day concludes with a climb up the Black Mountain to view the ruins of the English house and enjoy a panoramic view of the oasis under the clear blue sky at sunset. The climb is worth the experience.
You will spend the night in Bahariya Oasis. Meals included are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
After having your pleasant breakfast, we will begin our day by visiting the large salt lake in Bahariya and the golden dunes, then you will take an excursion to see the palm trees and the local fruit gardens. After a wonderful lunch, we will be going to the desert to enjoy The Black Desert, which is an interesting area of volcanic compositions and black-colored mountains with a large number of small black stones.
Continue to the quartz Crystal Mountain and the Valley of Agabat after a short stop at the Valley of El Haize. Arriving at the White Desert, which is a large region of formations of chalk that were carved by the annual sand storms hitting the country in the spring season. The shapes resulting from these formations are weirdly interesting as some of them look like they were carved on purpose.
You will spend your night camping in the White Desert with an unprecedented chance to see the rare fox of the eastern desert and you will enjoy an amazing sunset view while your local Bedouin guides are cooking your fresh dinner.
